SPB538J1 Seiko 145th Anniversary Limited Edition – Seiko Presage Classic Series Enamel ‘Timekeeper’

$100.29
This limited edition timepiece is one of a small collection to commemorate the 145th Anniversary of the beginnings of Seiko as a Tokyo clock and watch repair shop in 1881. These pieces take design and watchmaking inspiration from moments in Seiko’s history, bringing them up to date for today with the latest technical and design innovations and gold-coloured accents. This Presage Classic Series Craftsmanship model pays homage to the very first Seikosha (as Seiko was then known) pocket watch; the ‘Timekeeper,’ launched in 1895, when Seiko moved from repairing clocks and watches to creating them. Its features are reminiscent of the 1895 original, including a millegrain decoration around the gold-coloured case, large ‘onion-style’ crown design, classic Roman numerals, and elegant hands. The strap features moveable lugs and special pull-through sustainable LWG-approved leather. Gold accent colouring signifies the achievements of Seiko’s founder, Kintaro Hattori. Under a box sapphire glass is a warm white hand-enamelled dial with a uniquely soft sheen. Powered by an in-house built automatic 6R51 calibre, this timepiece is accurate to -15/ 25 seconds per day with a three-day power reserve. Seiko Presage: Timeless looks, precise mechanical timekeeping. Minimalistic watch designs with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic. *In an actual product, the case back direction might be different from the photograph. *This enamel watch dial is manufactured by firing it at a high temperature. The process of melting enamel may create small dimples, tiny dots, and a rough surface. These attributes are unique features of genuine enamel watch dials, of which no two are exactly alike.
