This image was inspired by another octopus rescue near New Quay. The curled octopus had been washed up in a storm and was a little worse for wear. We placed her carefully in a sheltered rock pool, and after a few moments of panic she settled herself into this relaxed position. She arranged her arms beautifully around herself as she sank lightly into the sand. So we called this image, the resting octopus. Look how beautiful her curled arms are!
