The “Mezuzah” is a small scroll of parchment on which are written two Biblical passages: “Hear 0 Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one….. The “Mezuzah” is tilted at an angle with the upper part of the “Mezuzah” slanted inward toward the house or room, and the lower part away from the house.
