Hand forged iron fork, in medieval style, hadmade with traditional techniques. This utensil is perfect for everyday life at camp. Approximated measurements: 20.5 cm. The Romans already have utensils very similar to the one shown here. In one of the images in the gallery you can see an example of bronze making that is probably used as a surgical instrument, aalthough this attribution cannot be proven and it may have been a general-purpose household utensil. The use of the two-spiked fork is also known to the nobility of the Sassanid Empire. The decorated piece that it shown is made of copper and dated from the 6-7th centuries. In the Scandinavian context, various forks have been found that used to be specific for cooking meat over a fire.
