Eilat Stone or in Hebrew “Even Eilat” is is the national Stone of Israel and is called “Eilat Stone” this due to the city of Eilat where it is mined. It is a green-blue mixture of various copper minerals mostly malachite, azurite, turquoise. Sometimes it is also known as the King Solomon Stone, and we think that’s pretty cool! THE SEVEN BRANCHED “MENORAH” (CANDELABRA) The “menorah” that was the centerpiece of the Tabernacle in the wilderness and of the first and second Temples in Jerusalem had seven branches. Specifications and instructions for the making of the Temple menorah are recorded in Exodus 25:31-40. The golden candlestick had a bowl on the end of each branch containing pure oil for the light. Twenty-two almond blossoms decorated the whole piece which was hammered out of one talent of pure gold equivalent to 34 Kg. (75 pounds)! The Menorah was the only light that lit up the Tabernacle and the temple as there were no windows. The seven lamps filled with oil are a witness to perfect light.
