Havdalah הַבְדָּלָה, Meaning “separation”  is a extrabiblical (not from the Biblical texts) ceremony that marks the end of Shabbat and ushers in the new week. It involves lighting a special havdalah candle (which you can also buy here on our website) that has several wicks, in addition the blessings of a cup of wine and smelling sweet spices.
