Vera Bradley Featherweight Belt Bag Sling Crossbody

I love this new bag from Vera Bradley! It is so lightweight and puffy. And so roomy. It holds twice as much as my lulu belt bag. I LOVE the rose color and the floral print inside is gorgeous. In a unique twist, the belt is elastic rather than canvas. You can make it big enough so it hangs loosely. It doesn’t have to be snug. But if you want it to be, the elastic can hold it firmly in place. It’s easy to adjust. The buckle is sturdy plastic, and a thinner modern update on the traditional plastic buckles. I have a love hate relationship with the Velcro hooks. I like that they’re there, that I have the option to hook it to a stroller or something if I want to. But I already hook my belt bags to strollers just by placing the belt around the whole handle. I don’t really need it to have two hooks to go directly around the handle. Especially if those two hooks stick up when I’m wearing the bag as a belt bag. If you push them down behind it’s not very comfortable if you have the bag snug. I think I’d rather see two small belt loop type things on the back, and the two Velcro straps come separately, but I could feed them thru the belt loops and hook to something- if needed. I still love love love this bag though. Enough to not knock a star off because of those stupid loops. I would buy this again, and probably will, I love the blue color too!
