Radicaln Handmade Marble Chess Set with Storage Box, Antique 15 Inches Black and Coral

The chessboard and pieces are all handcrafted marble. It makes a great display piece. It comes with a nice leather carrying “suitcase” that fits all the parts nicely. There is great attention to detail and quality.There are only a couple of areas for improvement, nothing to take a star off for, but worth mentioning. First, the piece-carrying section isn’t sized exactly (for example, the King is a little too wide for any slot); I would have thought since the other parts are handcrafted, this would be also. Second, the bottoms of the pieces are polished and smooth, but using marble pieces on a marble board means scratching up that nice, shiny board. I would suggest adding some felt to the bottom of each piece to prevent this (something you can easily do yourself too).Overall, I absolutely love this set. It’s gorgeous and impressive. It would make a great gift for the chess-lover in your life.
