Thanks to the project the future of the Barberry Carpet Moth is much more secure and we are still growing barberry plants as part of the project. The Reddish Buff Moth hangs on in one location on the Isle of Wight. Sadly it was too late to save the beautiful Essex Emerald from extinction. As a set together, they are a reminder that we all need to play our part in maintaining biodiversity for such beautiful creatures.
