After the Spangenhelm fell in disuse, helmets like this one came into the warfare. Being know as conical or nasal helmets, these ones had a one piece skull protection. We can see plenty of miniatures that features these helmets, like the “never failing” Maciejowski Bible. Made in 2mm steel with natural canvas lining. Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used on its manufacturing. The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel you may rub it with mineral or synthetic oil.
