Spec Sheet Installation Instructions Armacell’s AP Coil Flex was introduced for shops to run thru the liner station in full Coil Lines. Whereas standard Armaflex is a closed cell product, the Coil Flex is open cell. It’s softer and can be “broken” in a 90 degree to conform to the ductwork; it’s also porous and works with a waterbased adhesive. It also holds solvent based adhesive to such a degree that weld pins are not necessary. Note: This would need to be approved by engineer on the specific job.
