Common Prayer (Edward VII) & Hymnal Companion to the BCP

Common Prayer, bound in black leather over boards, and bound together with the Hymnal Companion to the Book of Common Prayer (third edition of 1890). The Hymnal Companion was a significant collection of hymns intended as a supplement to the traditional liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer. It includes metrical versions of the Litany and Athanasian Creed as well as hymns to be used in the Prayer Book services including the Catechism, Commination and Accession Day services. This volume shows some signs of use over many years and is starting to feel a bit lose, however all the pages appear to be clean and complete. The leather is quite worn, but could be repaired (see photos). This volume would make a fine addition to a collection, or could be used devotionally. Measurements 14cm x 9cm x 3.25cm.
