Tortoise brooch, design based on the archaeological find from Björko (Birka), Sweden. Dated from the 9th century. Similar brooches with this openwork decoration and very similar motifs were found on other archaeological sites, as Akershus, Grodås or Gloppen, at Norway. This replica is hand made of bronze.
