Pair of tortoise brooches, replica of the find from the important commercial settlement at Hedeby (Haddeby and Haithabu, in german), in the actual Denmark and northern frontier of Germany. Dated from the 10th century. The original brooches were found in the grave chamber number V. They present a fine decoration made in the granulation and filigree technique. Hand made of bronze.
