Hand-forged scissors. Its design dates back to the Ancient Rome and it was very common on whole Europe. This mechanism was used throughout the centuries to the present day. There are many exemplars from the Middle Ages, as an example the scissors found at the graves 670 and 750 from Birka, Sweden. A beautiful item to complete your sewing set.
