The first is a 10 Rouble note with a small prefix serial on the left and a large prefix serial on the right.  The second is a 5 Rouble note with large‑prefix serials on both sides. Both notes are from the familiar Khrushchev era redesign that remained in use across the USSR for decades. The 10 Rouble note features the portrait of Lenin on the front with ornate patterned borders and the Soviet state emblem. The reverse shows the Kremlin with detailed engraving typical of the period.
